in the neverending story of Sony BMG trying to steal the properties of OUR computers in order to kind of "save" their own property some German manager today told the interested public, that his company will keep on "trying to regulate the free availability of our music in some way".

i hereby propose to all maintainers of free software that's licenced under the GPL, LGPL or the likes to include rootkits in any installation of their software, to prevent them from being stolen by companies like the above mentioned and their contractors.

but what about the others that have no idea what this is all about?
i'm getting more and more concerned how companies like Sony, M$, Apple etc. are trying to control everything digital in our hands.
oh well, not to forget the ministries with their security features in passports etc.
